The Storm

"The Storm" Written by Kate Chopin was an exciting and enjoyable storm to read. Although the story involves adultery it however, brings me closer to the characters that partook in the story. How the relationship between Calixta and Alcée two old known friends ignited a flame of lust and forbidden love bounded by two storms. The Physical Storm that took places within the story and the Storm that partook in the Calixta emotional haven sharing her flesh with Alcée. I believed that the storm symbolized a friction between the two particles (People) When they came together the effect of forgotten prohibited love rekindled. Resulting in a explosion of tears (Rain) Shouts of Worry(Thunder) Prohibited past (Dark Clouds). The Storm was a great book.
